Through carefully crafted plans and strategies, continuous persistence, coupled with a well-studied vision for the future, Jordanian industries in the hands of Jordanians, along with the challenges, have been transformed into opportunities, enabling the plant and its products to reach both Arab and European markets.
By working on enhancing its efficiency and production capabilities, the plant has today reached a daily production level of half a million masks. Furthermore, there is a continuous keenness for creating new job opportunities and employing the largest manpower possible in order to contribute towards improving the local economy and enhancing the concept of economic responsibility.
On October 21,2020, Hitex took part in the national campaign launched by the Amman Chamber of Industry under the slogan “Made in Jordan” in accordance with the Royal Directives for enhancing self-sufficiency and qualifying industrial companies for exporting their products to new markets. Hence, Advanced Multi-technology for Medical Industries is considered among the leading Jordanian pioneers in the medical equipment field, having established the first plant specialized in the manufacturing and supply of medical equipment and high-quality surgical masks according to high specifications and standards.
During his visit to the Hitex branch, his Majesty King Abdullah II praised local manufacturing, emphasizing the significance of its development through opening new markets and broadening the base of countries to which locally manufactured products are exported to.
During his tour, accompanied by his Royal Highness Prince Hussein, at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce at Al Hussein Park, his Majesty emphasized the importance of both maintaining export promotion programs, as well as developing the mechanisms required for measuring their effects and continuous development.

Since the outbreak of the Corona Pandemic, Hitex has worked on undergoing an expansion of its plant and increasing its production lines as needed in order to fulfill the demand of the local market. In addition, it has worked on exporting its products to global markets through obtaining the necessary certificates, including the European CE Mark, US FDA Approval, in addition to the ISO 9001 (2015) and ISO 13485 (2016) Quality Control Certificates.
On March 3,2020, Advanced Multi -Technology for Medical Industries (Hitex), took part in the press conference held in the Amman Chamber of Industry Building which was attended by his excellency the Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chamber of Industry, Mr. Fathi Jaghbir.
During the conference, the steps which are being undertaken by Hitex for providing medical products across both the local and global markets at competitive prices as well as for increasing production opportunities and creating additional job opportunities for Jordanian citizens, were discussed.
